Our workshop/yoga sessions are designed to be rejuvenating and accessible for all levels! We prefer to limit the number of guests to enhance the personalized experience in our classes and provide focused attention to each individual's yoga practice. By assessing the participants' levels, we tailor the classes to best suit the group. Throughout the week, various styles and levels are taught, allowing you to select classes that align with your preferences. The most advanced yogis are those who honestly acknowledge their physical and mental states, opting for a mindful approach. Can I bring a friend/partner who doesn’t want to participate in the workshop classes?

Certainly! You are more than welcome to bring a friend or partner who doesn't wish to join the workshops. Participation in classes is entirely optional, and there are various opportunities for complete relaxation that they can partake in instead of attending classes.

Are meals included in our retreat package?

Absolutely! We provide delicious, healthy meals crafted to complement your wellness journey. Each dish is prepared with care to nourish both body and soul.

Is the cuisine accommodating to specific dietary needs?

What measures are in place for health and safety?

Your health and safety are our top priority. We have comprehensive measures in place to ensure a safe and comfortable experience for all our guests. We encourage you to purchase travel insurance upon booking.

How many people will attend the retreat?

We currently expect around 8-10 participants, which is relatively a small group experience for us.

Is there a suggested packing list?

In addition to clothes, toiletries, and other things you would normally pack for a trip like this, we recommend you bring the following: yoga clothes, flip flops, bathing suit, light sweaters or wraps in case for cool nights, closed toe shoes (if hiking), light long sleeve shirt and pants to protect yourself from mosquitoes, hat, sunscreen, and insect repellent. All yoga mats will be available at the venue so no need to bring if you’d rather not!

⁠what is the age group of the participants?

The age group of participants typically ranges. We welcome individuals who are seeking meaningful experiences, connection, and rejuvenation through our retreat offerings.

What time can I check in for the retreat?

Rooms will generally be available for check in at 3:00 PM. Check out is at 11:00 AM. You should feel free to contact Bedouin Roots Experiences at hello@bedouinroots.com for any special requests.

What should I do during break times where there is no class or activity scheduled?

We are hoping that the retreat can be an immersive experience for you to reconnect to your practice and reflect inwards. So we recommend things like enjoying the pool, journaling, walking/sitting meditation or just even rest during break times. A masseuse is also available and you can sign up for any upon check-in (not included in ticket price). Please note, to the extent you sign up for any personal excursions, it will be on your own dime and at your own risk.

What kind of food will be served at the Morocco retreat?

Oasis oubliee describes their food as healthy, they offer a fusion of Mediterranean and traditional Moroccan meals, cooked with minimal oil and healthy, local ingredients. They strive to get as many organic ingredients as possible and grow as much of their food on site as they can (on their small space). Farm to table is an aspirational goal for them with the objective that the chef and kitchen team have a direct relationship with the producers of each item on your plate. We offer vegetarian option. Each meal is a celebration of flavor and nourishment!

What should I expect from the Hammam spa experience?

The Hammam, Morocco's traditional steam bath, is more than a cleansing ritual. It's a communal sanctuary for rejuvenation and connection. Here, the process of steam bathing, exfoliation is not only about physical well-being but also about nurturing the spirit in a shared space.

Are there any outdoor activities included in the Marrakech retreat?

We have exciting outdoor activities like a daytrip to the Atlas mountains and cultural explorations in the souks and medina. These experiences are designed to immerse you in the local culture and scenery.

When should I book my flights and make other travel arrangements?

As far as we’re concerned, this retreat is ON! Please note, we are only human and there are always things outside of our reasonable control (such as boarders closing, acts of war & terrorism, natural disasters, etc.) that might require us to change plans, but that’s what travel insurance is for and this is a risk that you would have with any travel. So the answer is, whenever you feel comfortable.

What wellness workshops are offered?

Our wellness workshops include daily meditation, mindfulness activities, yoga, soulful music, opening and closing circles. We also have a special sound healing workshop in the program. All workshops tailored to stimulate personal growth and align your mind, body, and spirit.

How personalized are the retreat workshops?

With a small, intimate class size, our retreat leaders provide personalized attention, ensuring a supportive environment for deep exploration. Each guest receives individualized guidance suitable for their journey.

Will workshops be held indoors or outdoors?

Classes are primarily held in a dedicated indoor space. However, weather permitting, some sessions may be conducted outdoors to connect with nature.

What kind of inner work activities are included?

Our retreat includes sessions for inner work, connection, and meditation, focusing on various themes throughout the week. These activities are designed to foster self-discovery and alignment.

Can you tell me more about the accommodation?

Our living quarters are beautifully decorated with a combined traditional and Moroccan touches, offering an authentic and immersive stay. Each room has its unique charm, ensuring a comfortable and memorable experience.

Is the retreat suitable for beginners in mindfulness and Yoga?

Definitely! Our teaching style caters to all levels, from beginners to experienced. We ensure everyone feels included and comfortable, regardless of their mindfulness/yoga experience.

What other activities are included in the holistic retreat?

Alongside yoga, we offer a variety of activities to enrich your retreat experience, like mindfulness workshops, soulful music, local excursions, and relaxation sessions.

Is there Wi-Fi access at the retreat, or should I expect to be disconnected?

While we encourage guests to disconnect and immerse in the retreat experience, Wi-Fi is available throughout the venue for those who need it.

Are there any hidden costs I should be aware of?

Transparency is key for us. The retreat price covers accommodation, meals, and all activities mentioned in the program. Airfare, travel insurance, and any extras are not included in the price.

What should I expect in terms of weather?

Weather is unpredictable and we make no guarantees, but Marrakech enjoys a year-round semi-warm climate with approximately 300 sunny days a year. Our retreat time in early May is considered high season and prime time to travel with low rain and temperatures in the range of 85 to 95 degrees Fahrenheit (28 to 35 degrees Celsius).

Can I extend my stay beyond the retreat dates?

Depending on availability, we might be able to accommodate an extended stay. Please contact us for availability and additional details.

What if I am a single traveler?

Guests can come alone and we match up based on the guest profile. All the rooms are spacious with separate beds and private bathrooms. Plus most guests find that they are mainly only in the rooms to sleep as most tend to relax in the common areas (salons, terraces, pool, etc.) when we're not in class, on daytrips, or having meals. It's up to you if you prefer the single room, but it's not required if signing up alone as we will pair you with another guest.
